The Indian AI Summit 2026: What Went Wrong For Galgotias?
At the latest India AI summit Galgotias students presented a Robo dog for which they claimed of investing around 350 Crore completely built under the institutions and guidance of the professors in the college.
Even this was shared by the Electronics & IT minister Ashiwini Vaishnav on AI Impact Expo inauguration day titled it as “Sovereign model” on his X (twitter) Channel which was however deleted later from the platform.

Galgotias Took Its Stand: Propaganda Against Institution
As the issue is gaining too much attention online, University issued a clarification regarding the concern on fake credit and spreading misinformation rising to national level defamation at a global initiative program.
“This is a fake propaganda campaign against the institution” is the statement released by Galgotia on its twitter (X) platform. Galgotias in its support claimed that they have not built the robot neither they claimed of doing so.
